Best Vegan Versions of Traditional Cuisine: A Minha Avó
This restaurant is known for creating vegan friendly versions of classic Portuguese meals. This place is a local favorite because their vegan interpretations are just as delicious as the original recipes! This place is a must-eat for all vegans worldwide. They also host fun vegan meetup events for people in the community. A Minha Avó
See pictured below two of their most well-known dishes.

Best Vegan Dessert: Vegan Nata
We were told by everyone we knew that we had to try a pastel de nata, a famous traditional Portuguese dessert made of a custard-like inside with a pastry flaky outside. We didn't think we'd get the chance to try it because this dish is known for using egg and milk. But to our surprise, there is a whole establishment that only creates vegan pastel de natas. We had them and they were delicious! I even say in my video that we should have bought ten more! Vegan Nata.

Best Vegan Asian Food: Veganapati
Wow, wow! This place might be one of my favorites on this list of restaurants. We got their vegan ramen and vegan dumplings and were blown away by the flavor and presentation. It's also located on the famous R. das Portas de Santo Antão road that's lined with eateries, shopping and no cars! People-watching while eating your meal on a nice day is just perfection! I would definitely recommend everyone go here if you visit Lisbon. Veganapati.

Best Vegan Date Night: O Gambuzino
This place was so romantic! With low lighting and candles at every table. This place was our favorite date night of all the restaurants listed. We drank delicious mocktails and cocktails and had meaningful conversations in a private area that seemed just for us! The food was also divine and out of all the places we visited I really wish I could go here again! O Gambuzino.

Best Tofu Dish: The Green Affair
The food here is fabulous! There are three locations of this chain in Lisbon. My favorite was their tofu dish Sem Espinhas à Lagareiro. They made a glaze for the tofu to emulate fish and it was on a bed of mashed potatoes and spinach. I wish I could eat this right now! It's hard to make a great tofu dish so props to this place. The Green Affair.

Best Vegan Cheese: Organi Chiado
This restaurant has an ever-changing menu with a focus on Italian-style dishes such as pasta, breads, etc. One thing that makes this place unique is its cheese. One of their appetizers is a vegan goat cheese ball to eat with bread or chips. It's so good, it tasted just like real cheese! They also incorporate their premium vegan cheeses into most of their meals. Organi Chiado.

Best Vegan Convenience: Honest Greens
Honest Greens sells healthy foods both vegan and regular in a cafe-style order-up-front joint. There are six locations just in Lisbon alone! Since there are so many locations of this place, we were never stuck somewhere without vegan food because whenever you turned a corner, one appeared! We ended up eating here a lot for breakfast and lunch. Honest Greens.
